Activities of Botany Department

Why Study Botany?

Botany is the study of plants. Plants are a fundamental part of life on earth, generating food, oxygen, fuel, medicine and fiber that allow other life forms to exist. By studying botany, students can get knowledge of medicinal plants, biodiversity, environmental conservation, modern genetics and biotechnology. Botany students can apply in their respective field after graduation.
